If somebody else is responsible for your injuries, you can make an accident claim in terms of whiplash law. If you choose the right company, you are likely to get 100% of your claim paid out, and quite quickly too.

Whiplash is such a common factor in accidents that you need to assess how it has affected you, and if the answer is “badly”, you need to put in an accident claim immediately. Whiplash Law claims will usually be considered within three years of the date they occurred. Just be aware that there is a minimum compensation claim for whiplash, and be sure to go to a professional who can assess your claim fairly and squarely.

Make sure you qualify under Whiplash Law If you aren’t sure whether your symptoms qualify, a simple X-ray will probably tell all. It will also show whether your neck or any of the vertebrae in your back have been damaged, if only slightly. The more severe your injury, the more you will be able to claim. So don’t delay, get good advice today.

If you’ve ever had a motor accident and suffered from whiplash, you’ll know how awful this can be. The back of your head and neck will feel stiff after it’s happened, and you’re likely to get quite bad headaches as a result. You might also feel dizzy and your vision might also become blurred.

So how likely are you to get whiplash if you are involved in an accident? The answer is very likely, and there are enough claims under whiplash law to prove it. If the car you are driving, or the vehicle you are travelling in, stops suddenly, either because you or the driver brakes, or because it collides with something like a tree or another car, your whole body is likely to lurch forward and then be thrown back in the seat. This will cause the tissue in your spine to stretch, and then as you are thrown back, to strain even more.

Seatbelts are no guarantee against whiplash. Wearing a seat belt doesn’t help, because your body is held in place by the belt and not your head and neck. A seat belt might even make it worse. It can also happen – and often does – when the vehicle is travelling quite slowly.
Sometimes people develop what is known as whiplash syndrome and often the victim must appeal to whiplash law for compensation. What happens is that they continue to get headaches and they find it difficult to move their head and neck. They also often find it difficult to sleep. They might get pains in their back and generally find it difficult to operate. Pins and needles, numbness, muscle spasm and dizziness are other symptoms.

They find it difficult to sleep and often have blurred vision and a monotonous ringing in their ears. This syndrome is difficult to treat and it can continue for months, and even longer, sometimes even for years.

Further effects of whiplash
Although most cases clear up quite quickly, after just a few days, the problem is that the whiplash effect might cause even more serious injuries including dislocated bones and fractures. If you get whiplash, and your symptoms are severe, you might end up not being able to function properly – your job might even be threatened. Then it is time to seek compensation in terms of whiplash law.

Personal Injury: Claim Legal Protection

If you’ve been injured in some way or another you may be able to claim against whoever was responsible, even if you don’t have your own personal injury insurance. It all depends how you were injured, and where.

First and foremost, you’re going to have to identify what your personal injury is. Simply put, you might think this means “how did I hurt myself?”. But this isn’t in fact the case, because to be able to put in an injury claim, you have to prove that you didn’t hurt yourself at all. In fact, you’re going to have to prove that somebody else did something to either hurt you, or make you hurt yourself. Don’t get confused and don’t give up.

Many classes of personal injury

Injuries you may incur are amazingly varied, ranging from broken bones to burns. And you might be in any of a whole lot of places to have been subjected to personal injury. Some injuries may be caused by a genuine accident, whilst others may be caused by somebody

else’s misconduct.

And it isn’t always clear from the start who is responsible. For example, if another car crashed into your car, that is clearly an accident that might harm you. But if you get sick in hospital because of bad or incompetent treatment, that might not seem like an accident as such, but it could also cause you harm. And then who is to blame? The doctor, the nurse or the hospital? It could be anyone.

You might be eligible for compensation

If you think you might have a personal injury claims, think about it. You will know if you break a leg because you’ve tripped over a badly-fitted manhole cover in the road, but in another instance you may not realise that you are sick because of stress or harassment at work. If you buy goods that are faulty they could also end up hurting you in some way. If this is the case, you might have a claim against the manufacturer or even against the shop selling the goods.

Remember that if you get hurt and someone else is responsible, they should pay. But before you make a claim you’re going to have to ascertain whether it is a valid one or not. The first question will be whether somebody else did something wrong to cause an accident that injured you or caused any other type of incident that was responsible for the injury. A reputable company will be able to help you with these answers.

Any injury might qualify for a claim

The term ‘personal injury’ covers a broad range of injury and accident types – from whiplash sustained from a car accident, to a broken ankle from slipping on a pavement, to cerebral palsy caused through medical negligence. An injury can be physical or psychological, and can have long or short term effects.

If the answer isn’t cut and dried, don’t waste time, ask a qualified professional to give you advice. These people will ask you what the circumstances of your injury were: what and how the accident happened and what could have been done to prevent it. Let them help you determine whether you might be entitled to some type of personal injury compensation.

Accidents – and accident claims– happen every day at the week. You can be involved in accident while at work, driving on the road, playing sport, and sometimes even when we’re just out and about shopping or having fun. We all try to avoid accidents, but they happen unexpectedly, at the most inconvenient times, and often when it isn’t our own fault.

If an accident happens in a public place, while you’re at work, or while you’re driving, if you weren’t responsible for the accident you can probably make a claim against the relevant authority. A company that specialises in accident claims will be able to help you get money from whoever was responsible for the accident.

Someone else might be at fault

For example, if you trip on the pavement or footpath because it hasn’t been properly maintained, for instance because there were holes in the surface, the local council may be held accountable. Just bear in mind that if you didn’t make an immediate claim, and the council has subsequently fixed the problem, you’re going to need witnesses or some sort of photographic evidence to help you substantiate your claim.
Also remember that you can’t make a claim if you are at home, or if the accident was your fault. But you can make accident claims if you have a crash on the road and it wasn’t your fault. It doesn’t matter whether you were driving or whether you were a passenger. You can also make a claim if you were a pedestrian and you were involved in an accident, knocked down for example. If you slip in a shop because they’ve been cleaning and the floor is very slippery, and they haven’t warned shoppers to be careful, you may also be able to make a claim.

Put in accident at work claims as soon as possible

Generally you need to make accident claims within three years of the incident that caused your injury. The amount you will get will depend on your injuries and what medical attention you needed. You might also be awarded compensation for other expenses and even for lack of earnings, if you weren’t able to go to carry on working. The reality is that the worse your injuries are, the more you will be able to claim. If you suffer from continued pain after an accident, you can also claim for pain and suffering. Some compensation claims amount to millions of pounds.

In Britain there are very strict health and safety regulations that all employers have to abide by. If they don’t, and if you get hurt because of their negligence, you will have a very good case against your employer. For example, if you are doing a job that requires safety equipment that isn’t provided, or if you aren’t given adequate training, an accident is likely to be deemed their fault.

Even colleagues might be at fault

If you think about it logically, proper training as well as safety equipment and protective clothing will help you avoid an accident. If your employer has done what is necessary, but a colleague does something that puts you at risk and you have an accident, you will still be able to make a claim.

If you are planning to make one or more accident claims, make sure you have all the details and can prove exactly why you aren’t responsible for the accident. Also be sure that you approach a professional who can give you the guidance you need to ensure that your claim is 100% successful.

When you have a work accident and your employer is at fault or responsible, you may be entitled to make a work accident compensation claim where the legal fees are paid by your employers’ insurance company. Every business with employees must have insurance by law to cover situations where an employee may be hurt or injured at work. It’s reasonable to expect that accidents will happen at work, so that’s why insurance is compulsory for every business in the UK.

Common work accidents include slipping on wet floors or tripping on uneven surfaces. Much more common though are injuries which are caused by lifting heavy items that result in minor to serious back injuries, such as slipped discs.

Workers in trades and construction are frequently exposed to falling from heights, because of unsafe working practices that cause serious injuries, including fractures, heavy bruising and muscle pain.

Sometimes work accidents occur due to poor management and not having proper procedures in place to prevent situations, such as cables that are left on floors which cause you to trip and injure yourself. If you work with machinery, there is increased risk of danger due to moving parts and objects, for example if you’re not supplied with protective eyewear, you might damage your eyesight if something gets into your eye.

When you have a work accident, it may seem trivial at first, but if the injuries are serious, your life may start to be seriously affected. Time off work to recover might mean loss of earnings or paying for lots of travel to hospitals and doctors surgeries. The cost of the accident soon begins to add up and it’s your right to be compensated for the pain and inconvenience that an accident that was not your fault causes.
People Claims handled work accident claims on a no win no fee basis. This means that the cost of asking us to handle your legal case is paid by your employers insurance company. We will only accept your claim in the first instance if we are confident that you have a good case, which means that we can offer you ano win no fee written guarantee.

Our solicitors are highly regarded in their work for successfully handling work accidents and will fight to obtain the maximum compensation for your loss and injuries in the minimum time.
